Motto of the Forum: Physical culture and sport as a factor of sustainable development of Russia
Target of the Forum:
to promote transformation of physical culture and sport into an efficient social and economic industry, supporting intellectual and physical development of the community, establishment of advanced sport industry, improved competitiveness of the Russian sport, and integration in the international sport community.
The main topics of the Forum:
physical culture and sport as an efficient way to form civic consciousness and improve national dignity
the main tasks are as follows:
to ensure accelerated modernization of physical culture and sport based on the implementation of innovative technologies, legal framework improvement, financing optimization, public-private partnership development, as well as the activity of socially oriented and philanthropic organizations; to improve the profitability of the use of the commercial potential of physical culture and sport in accordance with the guidelines set out by the Olympic Movement leading countries; to use the opportunities offered by the participation in the international sport life for the Russian Federation tourist appeal improvement, establishment of the image of a modern, transparent and safe country; to improve efficiency of the suppression of violence and vandalism among sport event visitors; to modify the existing approaches to sport and patriotic education of the community, primarily that of children and youth; to motivate the community for regular sport activities, self-initiated promotion of healthy life, ethical values and views, being the basis of physical culture and sport, in their social environment; to involve the community of the Russian Federation in social processes by way of involvement in sport life and development of the skills of socially responsible behaviour; to obtain experience in implementation of the Strategy for physical culture and sport development through 2020; to use the experience of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in implementation of the programs for physical culture and sport development.

the main tasks are as follows:
to review the Russian markets of labour and educational services in the field of staff training for physical culture and sport; to provide information on Russian and international trends in this field; to establish the national innovative educational base for the sport industry, and promotion of modern Olympic education in the Russian Federation; to improve the level of the professional training of those employed in the physical culture and sport industry due to the establishment of new education quality standards, develop and improve education plans, implement advance international practice, new methods, and technologies for Russian expert training abroad and the leading foreign expert involvement; to increase the number of professional education programs for the physical culture and sport industry, and improve advanced education programs in the industry; to fulfill current need for staff in the industry, and improve its competitiveness on the markets of education and labour; to discuss the issues of volunteer movement development and popularization; to obtain experience in international innovative educational program development in the field of physical culture and sport – case of the Russian International Olympic University Autonomous Non-Governmental Organization, and the FISU International Education Center.
the 100th anniversary of the Olympic Movement and innovative development of elite sport in Russia: national trends and international experience
the main tasks are as follows:
to provide information on the experience of the leading countries within the Olympic Movement in athlete preparation for the Olympic Games and other high-level competitions, discussion of the possibilities of its implementation in the Russian Federation; to improve financial, material and technical, information and analytical, scientific, and medical and biological support to elite sport; to promote high technologies in sport training; to discuss the use of non-training factors (athlete preparation in special natural and climatic zones, sport diet) for high sport results achievement, and optimization of sport reserve preparation; to study the Republic of Mordovia experience in development of the basic Olympic sports, and its implementation in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation; to improve the elite sport appeal as a professional area; to discuss improvement and extension of international cooperation in the field of doping countermeasures; to arrange master classes and demonstrations of promising developments and projects of domestic and foreign companies for elite sport development; to arrange festive and other events associated with the jubilee of the Olympic Movement, honouring of athletes, coachers and veterans of sport; to improve the awareness of the community in the Russian Federation on the principles and values of the Olympic Movement, and its mission in the modern environment.
sport and environment – a new area for collaboration
the main tasks are as follows:
to provide information on the role of environmental protection and ecological safety related issues in the modern sport movement; to promote the ideas of responsible approach to the environment, when preparing and holding sport competitions of various levels; to provide information on the risks and opportunities for sustainable development of physical culture and sport; improvement of ecologic and sport legislation in the Russian Federation; improvement of the ecological awareness of the participants and spectators of sport events, members of the volunteer movement, and tourists; to arrange presentation of successful global experience; to arrange presentation of the experience of the organizers of Winter Olympic Games XXII and Winter Paralympics Games XI in 2014 in Sochi, Global Summer Universiade XXVII in 2013 in Kazan in the field of establishment and implementation of ecological programs, accompanying preparation and holding of the said sport events.
the 1000th anniversary of the union of the Mordovia people with the peoples of the Russian Federation
the main tasks are as follows:
to arrange festive and other events associated with the 1000th anniversary of the union of the Mordovia people with the peoples of the Russian Federation; to create cultural and intellectual unity of the peoples of the Russian Federation; to ensure acquaintance with history and cultural traditions of Finno-Ugric peoples; to ensure national sports development
Business program of the Forum: grand opening of the Forum; two plenary meetings of the Forum; workshop meetings; research-to-practice conferences; round tables; Sport in Art exhibition; III Modern Sport: Innovations and Future Prospects International Exhibition, other exhibitions, which proved to be successful in the course of the Forum in Kazan and Moscow.
Protocol events of the Forum, international and all-Russian official sport events; III International Festival of Sport Cinema; photo exhibition and a contest of the best pictures.
Signing of agreements and contracts with the representatives of international sport organizations, state structures, city and region governments of the Russian Federation, regional committees for physical culture and sport, federations, directors of the leading companies in the industry, and members of non-governmental organizations.
Award of the winners of the national prizes in the field of physical culture and sport.
Consultations, master classes for sport-education community of Russia, etc. Grand closing of the Forum, approval of the final documents of the Forum; visit to the sport venues, sport competitions and events, presentation of the experience in health and fitness and sport activities in the Republic of Mordovia.
Cultural program: official cultural events and shows dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Olympic movement in Russia and the 1000th anniversary of the union of the Mordovia people with the peoples of the Russian Federation; visit to cultural and historical venues and sights of the Republic of Mordovia.
The Forum shall be prepared and held by the following entities: the Organization Committee for preparation and holding of the Forum; the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation; the Government of the Republic of Mordovia.
Executive bodies: temporary task forces of the Organization Committee of the Forum;
a task force of the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of Russia for preparation and holding of the Forum; headquarters of the Government of the Republic of Mordovia for preparation and holding of the Forum; authorized organizer of the Forum.
Financial support to the Forum
Financial support tothe Forum shall be ensured from the federal budget, the budget of the Republic of Mordovia, charitable contributions, and off-budget sources.
