Requirements asto preparation of materials as part of the official program of the International sport forum "Russia – Country of Sports" to form the Collection of Scientific Papers thereof
All participants making reports must up to June 15, 2010, submit to the Organizing Committee for preparing and holding of the Forum (see details at the end of the document) scientific materials on respective subjects (in soft and hard copies) prepared in accordance with the requirements below. Attached is a sample paper.
General requirements:
- conformity between content and subject of a paper;
- availability of recommendations with respect to solving a key problem being the basis for a paper;
- full conformity between soft and hard copy of a paper;
- availability of a soft copy (CD or JetFlash) of all figures and photos set forth in the report (as well as tables, diagrams, graphs if set forth in the form of figures in the text) as separate files.The report and all supporting documents may be sent by E-mail: forum2010@sportmagazin.net;
- availability of signatures of all authors on hard copy of a paper;
- observance of the order of the sections below in the text of the document submitted.
Requirements as to the content of document (parts of the text must be set forth in the following order):

subject of the paper (explicitly) in Russian; - surname and initials of each author, academic degree (if any), title, name of organization he/she represents, town:in Russian;
- the list of key words (up to 5 phrases) in Russian;
- abstract (up to 400 symbols with spaces) in Russian;
- contact details for readers (E-mail);
- subject of the paper in English;
- surname and initials of each author, academic degree (if any), title, name of organization he/she represents, town: in English;
- the list of key terms (up to 5 phrases) in English;
- abstract (1,500 – 2,000 symbols with spaces) in English;
- text of a paper (including illustrations in any order as the author thinks fit) in Russian;
- contact details of the author or his/her representative for the Organizing Committee (E-mail; telephone/ fax, including area code, full name).
- text editor: Word2003/2007, XP;
- margin: top, bottom, left, right – 2.0 cm;
- font: TimesNewRoman, size – 14 pt (without text compression function);
- line spacing:1.5, without hyphenation;
- volume:up to 8 pages of typewritten text, format A4 (up to 14,000 symbols), including tables and figures;
- text alignment: justified;
- ident at the beginning of the paragraph must be 1.25 cm;
- name of a report must be printed in capital letters using bold face and center alignment;
- surname, initials and title of the author should be printed in italics using right-alignment;
- name of a report and surname of the author should be divided with a blank line;
- illustrations (figures, graphs, diagrams, tables, maps, photos) set forth in the text must be also submitted as separate files (in TIFF, JPG formats).Any symbols, signs, scales etc. on figures must be easily readable and in proportion to the size of a figure; illustrations for the Collection of materials must be black-and-white. Each illustration must be signed. If there are more than one illustration in the text, they must be numbered using Arabic figures;
- all abbreviations and acronyms must be expanded when they are mentioned for the first time (except for some commonly used abbreviations);
- physical quantities and units used in formulas set forth in the text, in figures should be designated using the International System of Units (SI system);
- references to literary sources must be specified in square brackets;
- text of a paper should be structured (i.e. it must be divided in several parts) using subtitles for relevant sections.
ATTACHED IS THE SAMPLE PAPER.
If the materials are submitted in violation of these requirements the Organizing Committee shall be entitled to waive their further publication in the Collection of Scientific Papers without any notice.
Author’s fee is not provided for.
Materials submitted may not be returned to the author thereof.
Author of the paper shall be held liable for the content of the document and data reliability.
The Organizing Committee hereby reserves right to edit papers (without any change in terms of scientific data): changing word order, phrase structures; streamlining the text; proofreading.
